Brightstar Community School

Today Brightstar Students, Jessyca Zamar S angian, Anjenette Celine, Natasha Phoebe are going to Hangzhou, China to participate the competition.

On August 26th, we have a program call Safari Blessing Trip. In this program we want to teach the students on sharing, how to share what we have with another persons. We want to visit them in their time of suffering because they live in the place that no people like us want to go there. We love them and we want to see they have the same opportunity as we have. Everything are possible for those who believe in Him.

Today, all the students in Brightstar need to do Cooking Review which was the Review for Cooking Class that they had been doing before. They are divided by 4 teams. Let’s see their working through some pictures below.

1st Team is Anjanette and Jessyca
They choose to make Hotdog, Popcorn, and Mango Juice.

2nd Team is Claudia and Natasha
They choose to make Oriental Fried Rice and Ice Lemon Tea.

3rd Team is Hizkia and Elbert
They choose to make Hamburger, Avocado Juice and Banana Split.

4th Team is Irene, Joel, and Josh
They choose to make Fried Rice, Jelly, and Cola Float

After lunch today we are going to Planetarium, Taman Ismail Marzuki at Cikini. All students are really exciting when we are watching the movie about galaxy, planet and all the stuff in the sky. And they are really enjoy when the place are moving like we are sitting in the rocket heading to galaxy.
They said…so cool! All the students can learn about planets and galaxy and constellation in the sky as they enjoying the trip today…!

We are going to Margo City Depok to parcipate in their education program: Science Fair 2009. This event is very  good for student because they combine between fun and education to make it easy for children to learn about the tecnology behind the project. They guide us to make a Water Rocket, its really fun and the students learn many things.

Learn the Principle of Caring and Sharing what we have to others

We have 3 days bazaar at Studio Palm own by Mr. Baroto’s family. In this event we teach the students how to do business and it give them an understanding about the business world. We teach them how to earn money from their used stuff, they bring all that things and sale to this 3 days bazaar. They really enjoy the program and they are so exciting though they need to look after their own. Good job guys!

This is the second anniversary of Brightstar Community School. We invited Ps. Donald Nicaud from USA to share a message in our special day also a team from YWAM Perth came to our anniversary celebration. The Lord so mightily in this Anniversary Service and the students got touch by His Spirit.
